All,

The annual retreat is scheduled for July 17th & 18th.
But so far I counted just four possible attendees: Mike Q., Jessie S., Jen Q., and Jason B.
Any more takers for the retreat in Wildwood? We will need at least 8 folks to make it a go. This happens only once or twice a year and it is during the retreat that we cover an extensive amount of material and do group drills that will give attendees a good amount of experience.

Retreats usually comprised of a two day experience where we cover lots of basics and DM material. We do stuff like playing night games: gauntlet, capture the flag, and War.  We also do various sparring drills. Various group drills like 3-men Hit and 5-person Hit Drills with a pointer.  We cover alot of basics like Serrada counters, DM levels I-5 basics,  moro-moro batlayas, Pentjak-Silat Djurus/takedowns/Sambuts/Kambangan/etc... Depending on location, we do takedowns on water, we do uphill jogging, knife practice with water jugs, DeCuerdas training, tire hitting, etc... Tons of stuff for FMA afficionados to experience.  Once in a while we feature other Arts and artists. In the past we had Sifu Khallid Khan, Sifu Bruce Moran, Master Jimmy Tacosa, Gat Puno Abon Baet, and others.  This year we will be doing some Qigong exercises with Sifu Jason Brigham.  Lots of fun!

We will need to either come up with 8 attendees or postpone this event till August or September.
