It gives us great joy to cordially invite you to our annual San Francisco Golden Gate Internationals Martial Arts Championships & Extravaganza on March 23-24, 2012. This 2-day Martial Arts event was held at the beautiful and luxurious Hyatt Regency in Burlingame, near the San Francisco International Airport.

MANILA, Philippines – For the longest time, sipa has been labeled as the national sport of the Philippines. Well, not anymore. From being the “national sport,” sipa is now more commonly described as the “Philippines' favorite traditional native sport.” 

Sixty-four martial artists from around the world were inducted into the first Philippine Martial Arts Hall of Fame last Saturday at the Diamond Hotel in Manila. Punong Lakan Garitony Nicolas, the event’s organizer said the inductees were chosen through peer review and by the significance of their contribution to the martial arts. 

The organizers of the very first Philippine Martial Arts Hall of Fame slated on April 21 to 22 at the Diamond Hotel in Roxas Boulevard, Manila, announced their solid advocacy of arnis, the Philippines’ national martial art and sport by the virtue of Republic Act 9850, also known as the Arnis Law.
