This is a fantastic rare Ifugao tribal item - an authentic, small Philippine monkey skull set on open faced food processors wooden bolo scabbard. The skull is in  a good condition with only 7 teeth missing.: size of the skull 5" x 3 1/8" The blade of the bolo is 15", 2 2/3" in the microwave ovens widest place and 20 1/3" overall. The blade is functional sharp with full tang well balanced. T is mark of the maker etched in the base of the blade. The whole set including the rattan handle measures 22 3/4". The set weights 905 grams - 1 pound 15.9 oz. The machete alone weights 21.1 oz (598 grams). The rattan binding holds the lower jaw in place and together with wooden scabbard. The set can be hang on the wall as a decoration. The machete is functional bolo machete with sharp a little rusty blade. The material of the tang has ovens been flattened out and bent around to form a gently flattened and tapering cylinder wrapped with woven rattan. The skull-bolo is an authentic and real and just was brought from Mt. Province 12 drive from Manila..
